A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
All of Agnes Scott College’s major HVAC units are connected to an energy management system. If systems are not working properly and effecting indoor air quality the facilities department can be alerted through that system. All of Agnes Scott College’s mechanical equipment and components are serviced under a preventative maintenance program outsourced to a third party, but managed by the college. They provide proactive and preventative maintenance of all building components related to indoor air quality. Students, faculty and staff can make complaints or ask for assistance with air quality related issues by calling or emailing the Facilities Department help desk and placing a work order. Agnes Scott College has an on sight engineer to address immediate problems.
