A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
All new employees are required to attend New Staff Orientation, either for staff or faculty. The program includes a direct presentation from the Center for Sustainability that provides a comprehensive overview of sustainability at the college. There are always lots of questions about how to be involved and supportive comments from new staff. They are encouraged to join our Green Team as a way to integrate sustainable practices into their job responsibilities. All staff and faculty are also directed to the Employee Handbook for more detailed information on sustainability-specific policies adhered to by the college.
