The Center uses social media, through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube to update the campus community on both sustainability at Agnes Scott, and to post on sustainability interest stories.

In May 2021, the Center for Sustainability published its first sustainability newsletter to provide the campus community and community partners with updates on sustainability at Agnes Scott.

In LEED Gold-certified Campbell Hall, sustainable signage is located throughout the building to highlight the LEED features of the building. The topics include: sustainable sites, site selection, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, indoor environmental air quality, and materials and resources. There is also a marker explaining the geothermal HVAC system for Campbell Hall positioned on the geothermal field adjacent to the building. The entire green building tour for Campbell Hall can be found at the Center’s website. For the LEED Platinum-certified building, Rebekah Hall, there is an iPad in the Welcome Center that allows visitors to click through LEED credits of the building before and/or after their full tour.

Alumnae Weekend: every year during Alumnae Weekend, the Center for Sustainability hosts a series of sustainability tours to introduce alumnae to the diversity of programming offered by the Center. This includes tours of Campbell Hall (LEED Gold), Rebekah Scott Hall (LEED Platinum), three of the college’s solar arrays, and arboretum. In addition, the Agnes Scott gardener, Lois Swords, is available at the garden to answer any questions about the college’s organic garden.

Arboretum: The Agnes Scott Arboretum has a self-guided walking tour available to any campus visitor. Every stop of the tour is marked with a QR code that educates the participant on the history of the Agnes Scott tree canopy, Agnes Scott’s tree management program, and the cultural importance of trees to the campus community. This tour is hosted in person during Alumnae Weekend.

In 2019 and 2020 the Center for Sustainability conducted sustainability tours for USGBC's GreenBuild conference, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation & Second Nature's Climate Summit. A script for these tours is available for use by staff and volunteers.

The Center has developed a Sustainability Handbook, which gives both an overview of sustainability on-campus, and ways our community can increase their sustainable habits. All new Environmental Residents receive an electronic copy of this handbook during their orientation, and this serves as the basis of their introduction to sustainability at Agnes Scott.
