Arizona State University’s Facilities Development and Management is committed to developing and maintaining sustainable practices in its operations. Following is a listing of policies and practices that address the way we maintain buildings in accordance with sustainable building operational practices. Room Temperature Conservation Guidelines – ASU's Tempe campus classrooms and offices are heated to no higher than 68° F, and cooled to no lower than 80° F to reduce the amount of energy used for space conditioning.
