A brief description of the trans-fats avoidance program, policy, or practice:
Arizona State University’s primary food services provider, ARAMARK, has a company-wide trans-fat policy which states that all the oils used to cook and fry with in the residential dining halls are Zero Trans Fat oils. ARAMARK works with suppliers and manufacturers to develop ways to identify and reduce both saturated and trans fats in recipe ingredients and prepared foods.
