Arizona State University's equivalent guiding document is called ASU Vision and Goals. ASU Vision and Goals contain four goals. 1) Access and Quality for All, 2) National Comprehensive University by 2012, 3) Establish National Standing in Academic Quality and Impact of Colleges and Schools in Every Field, and 4) Enhance our Local Impact and Social Embeddedness. The environmental dimensions of sustainability is included within the 4th goal of ASU’s Vision and Goals as follows: Undertake applied sustainability research that impacts the social, environmental and economic evolution of the southwest. The environmental dimensions are also included within The Challenges Before Us program where we demonstrate Arizona State University's commitment to creating local solutions to eight key issues that have global impact.
