A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Sustainability is included in welcome packets for new employees in the form of informational and educational materials. These include information about public transportation, sustainable practices regarding purchasing, paper use, energy management, waste and recycling, and water. In addition faculty and graduate students have a training session where they are introduced to many of the offices and programs that support sustainability at Auburn. Included in the materials is a link to the Office of Sustainability website where an entire page is dedicated to 'Working at AU' and other pages with a transportation guide, training opportunities, and more information.
