Businesses are provided with the opportunity to self-report their ownership status during the vendor set up process.
In addition, Payment and Procurement Services has been working closely with the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs and the Small Business Development Center to revamp the University's vendor website and provide specialized information/training to enhance the opportunities for minority and/or small businesses to conduct business with the university. The official launch of this re-energized initiative is scheduled to take place in 2016.
