Research Inventory
Inventory of the institution’s sustainability research:
A searchable, continuously updated database of all faculty engaged in sustainability research is available: http://acadsustain.auburn.edu/people/directory/. The attached research inventory reflects information in this database as of August 2021.
A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
The Director of the Academic Sustainability Program collected information about sustainability-related research projects of faculty using a combination of methods, including perusal of faculty biographies and research agendas for over one thousand faculty members; direct contacts with department chairs and the deans of all research-related academic units; and consultation with faculty representatives from each academic unit who serve on the Academic Sustainability Advisory Committee. Draft inventories of faculty and their interests are submitted biannually to deans and academic unit representatives for corrections and additions from their units. The faculty directory from which this inventory is compiled (available at http://acadsustain.auburn.edu/people/directory/) is continuously updated by the Director of the Academic Sustainability Program pursuant to new information.
