The University has utilized a diversity certification program to assist members of the campus community to gain a better understanding of diversity as a whole. This certification program will be active for 3 years allow members of the campus community the opportunity to educate themselves over the 3 year process.
There was also a climate survey delivered to the campus community.

The diversity certification showed that 1) many constituents desired to the opportunity to grow in the areas of diversity and it also 2) enlightened those who completed the certification that they were not as familiar with diversity opportunities as they thought they were.
