Indiana Economic Development Course 2014, Open Enrollment
"Week-long ED course accredited by the International ED Council (IEDC). The program was designed according to the guidelines established by IEDC. Topics include: business retention and expansion, strategic planning, marketing/business attraction, economic development finance, small business and entrepreneurship development, community/neighborhood development, real estate development and reuse, workforce development, building development organizations, development and the environment, understanding the global economy, international trade, community development theory, data gathering and analysis, and existing industry development."
Geothermal Conference II
On 4/10/2014, GeoCon II participants exchanged technical information, developed understandings, and shared experiences with design, drilling, and equipment issues related to geothermal ground source heat pump technology. To showcase the nation’s largest geothermal heating and cooling system, guided bus tours included the borehole drilling site, the HVAC interface, and the District Energy Station North building all located on Ball State's campus.
