We purchase our products from the same vendors and adhere to similar practices as our peer schools. On our website store.bates.edu in the "About Us" section, we state the following: "Consistent with the Bates mission and our institutional ideals, the Bates College Store requires that all licensed vendors and suppliers provide evidence of their corporate code of conduct that confirms a strong commitment to conducting business affairs in a socially, environmentally, and ethically responsible manner."
