This is the information provided to new employees at employee orientation: Bennington College is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. The College reports yearly on sustainability initiatives and progress across all offices of the College. The intent of this work is to gain recognition for our sustainability efforts, generate new ideas, engage our community, create a baseline for continuous improvement, inform strategic planning and budgeting, integrate sustainability into the curriculum, make real progress towards sustainability, and engage with other institutions from around the world to continue to fight climate change. Every student, staff, and faculty member can help continue this work.
