A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
2017 was the first time in many years that Bentley assessed employee satisfaction. The Human Resources department is working closely with Quantum Workplace to evaluate the responses and develop plans to address issues raised by the evaluation.
Thus far Human Resources has identified the top ten drivers of employee satisfaction and three areas of focus based on these drivers. Focus 1: Make Employees Feel Valued, Focus 2: Set goals, communicate clearly, build accountability, Focus 3: Leverage career development to maintain job alignment.
Human Resources reviewed these outcomes with the President's Cabinet and next with department heads during the spring of 2017. During the summer and fall of 2017 HR will work to develop programs to address issues raised in the evaluation.
