A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
Most light duty campus fleet has been replaced with strictly plug-in electric vehicles for on-campus use only. Signs are posted in public parking lots to prohibit vehicle idling while in park. Finally Binghamton University and local public transit operator cooperate so that faculty and students can use public transportation simply by showing a proper University issued ID.
