A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Using the Shiny App developed by CMU, we compiled a list of all courses offered and the UN SDGs associated with each (see columns K and M). We eliminated all "topics" courses that are not regularly offered and have no course description, performance courses, internships, and activity-based courses (physcial education). The inventory was then reviewed to make sure that our classification matched what the Shiny App identified. Our classification can be found in column L.
How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
A brief description of how courses with multiple offerings or sections were counted:
Courses were only listed once based on their description in the schedule. We did not include sections.
