Binghamton University offers many training opportunities to faculty and staff including the following:

- Building Bridges to Cultural Competency

- Various Employee Assistance Workshops including mental and physical health, conflict resolution, etc. For additional information, go to: http://www.binghamton.edu/eap/programs/on-campus-workshops.html

- Faculty and staff are also eligible to apply for Individual Development Awards. These awards may be used for any sort of professional development, inlcuding attending conferences and workshops and obtaining certifications.

- Annual Compliance Training (mandatory for all employees) including hazardous waste management, stormwater management, preventing discrimination and harassment, and workplace violence prevention, and our anti-tobacco policy.

SUNY Sustainability Conference, AASHE conference, BuildSmart NY Innovators Summit are just some examples of training opportunities regularly attended by Binghamton University employees.
