A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
Starting on March 1, 2020, New York State prohibited sales and distribution of single use carryout plastic bags from certain retailers. Binghamton University's contracted retail food vendors and merchants all discontinued the use of plastic carryout bags.
