A brief description of the institution’s third party certified land holdings:
BHSU was designated a Bee Campus USA in June 2019. The award means BHSU has prioritized providing and protecting pollinator habitat by establishing a campus bee committee, creating and enhancing pollinator habitat, offer service-learning projects, display signage about pollinator conservation, incorporate pollinator conservation into their offered courses, and maintain an online presence.
BHSU has been a Tree Campus USA since 2015 to present year. We established a campus biodiversity advisory committee, a campus tree care plan, a campus tree program with dedicated annual expenditures, Arbor Day observance, and a service learning project.
