A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
The BU Bike Safety committee launched the BU Bike Accident Toolkit application for smart phones, giving riders an easy means for documentation and contacting authorities in the event of an accident. Free to members of the BU community, this GPS-enabled app allows students, faculty, and staff to efficiently capture important information following an accident. The aftermath of a bike accident can be stressful and overwhelming; the BU Bike Accident Toolkit app provides users a simple and intuitive tool to thoroughly document an accident.
