A brief description of the garden:
The Bowdoin Organic Garden, started by student volunteers in 2004, now has two 7 month paid staff positions for a Garden Manager and Garden Assistant, plus two paid summer student positions and a summer intern position. The organic garden is composed of several plots totaling over 3/4 an acre and provides produce to dining services as well as the Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program.
