A brief description of the food donation program:
Each month, the College provides one complete, three-course meal for 25 people to the nearby Family Shelter. Unused food from the two dining halls is donated to the local food safety organization, Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program (MCHPP) as well as additional food donations during Commencement, Reunion, and winter holidays. Approximately 900 pounds of organic produce from the Bowdoin Organic Garden was donated to MCHPP during the garden season.
