A brief description of the technology employed:
The College utilized two waterless urinals in the Farley Field House. Bowdoin's installation of waterless urinals was not well-received. After several meetings between Facilities Management staff and the waterless urinal dealer about blow back pressure issues we experienced every time we changed the filters, the units were removed. Instead, the College is switching to minimal flush urinals (0.125 gallons per flush). Additionally, new campus standards for toilets specify dual flush models.
