Bowdoin's short term climate action plans include installing electrical cogeneration capabilities in the campus steam plant and solar hot water heaters on top of the main dining hall (both completed in 2011). Additionally there are several other smaller scale renovation and efficiency projects such as replacing traditional lighting with LED lighting around campus..
