Keisha Payson, Associate Director of Sustainability, presented at the Maine Climate Change Adaptation Providers Network May 2018 meeting, at the 2018 AASHE conference in Pittsburgh, at the June 2018 Northeast Campus Sustainability conference at Wesleyan, and at the Second Nature 2019 Climate Leadership Summit in Tempe. Faculty and students regularly contribute to the Maine Sustainability conference held each March, by  organizing panels on coastal resilience, presenting on research findings, and presenting posters.

Keisha Payson, Sustainability Director, served on the steering Committee for the Sustainability Dashboard group. Professor Eileen Johnson served as an advisor for the Island Institute's project identifying risks of sea-level rise to Maine's working waterfront, as well as on the Science Advisory Council for the Environmental Health Strategy Center.

A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:
The Bowdoin Office of Sustainability has many informal collaborative relationships with colleges from the Green Campus Consortium, to suggest ideas and support for various sustainability projects and initiatives. Bowdoin's Associate Director of Sustainability is also acting as a mentor in AASHE's Mentorship Program.

A brief description of other collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year:
Bowdoin collaborated with Amherst, Williams, Hampshire and Smith Colleges to support the creation of 22MW of a new solar PV facility in Farmington, Maine with NextEra Energy Resources. Collaboration by the five schools provided market access that no single school would have been able to achieve on their own. Starting in 2015, Bowdoin and Colby have participated in an Energy Competition between the two colleges to see which campus residence halls can reduce the most energy, typically over a one-month long period.
