The Bryant Digital Repository houses diverse materials produced by Bryant University students, faculty, and staff. The mission of this institutional repository is to collect, organize, preserve, promote, and disseminate research products and the legacy of Bryant University for the global community to use without barriers to access.

The institution's open access policy:
Most grant-based faculty and student research is set up to require open access journal publishing as a requirement of the funding; Honors Capstone projects are posted (archived) for public access; all Master’s Theses are placed in Digital Commons. All faculty are encouraged to post articles in Bryant's Digital Commons. The Krupp Library is interested in gathering information about how Bryant faculty engage with Open Educational Resources (OER), so that we can create opportunities to learn about OER, as well as support faculty who are interested in teaching using these resources. We also want to learn how Bryant faculty may already be making use of OER (see link below):

Many research grants do require and do fund open source publishing, but not every research project at the university is tied to such grants.
