Signage
Yes
A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Recycling collection centers are well marked and streamlined across campus with signage to indicate the recycling locations.
Additionally, the Student Sustainability Ambassadors have created new recycling signage for the residence halls and across campus to better inform the campus community as to what can and cannot be recycled.
In 2017, the Academic Innovation Center was awarded a Silver LEED certification. The AIC is intended to leverage best practices and technology to deliver highly energy efficient and sustainable building performance. In addition to the LEED certification process, the project team worked closely with NGRID, as part of their Advanced Buildings Program. Some of the innovative features include energy saving HVAC controls; a high efficiency HVAC system design; daylight harvesting and low wattage LED lighting design; improved thermal envelope; and high performance glazing. The plaque was unveiled in April 2018. https://www.usgbc.org/projects/bryant-university-aic

Green living guide
No
A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
Guidelines have been developed for effective recycling practices in all campus residence halls, and resident assistants are trained to encourage recycling by residents. Continuing work will take place to establish a model green suite.
The student handbook states the following about trash and recycling:
Trash & Recycling: Each living area has a responsibility to dispose of trash & recyclables properly in designated locations. Residents are not permitted to leave their trash outside their hallway doors. The Resident Director has specific instructions for each area. It is the responsibility of each resident to familiarize themselves with the set of instructions which applies to their living area. Citations/fines may be issued to individual(s) or floors in violation of University policies regarding proper trash/recycling disposal.
