A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
First year students including transfer and graduate students attend a 45 minute session run by the Office of Campus Sustainability. The first ten minutes will be used to discuss sustainability at Bucknell, including our governance, our commitments, and our initiatives. The next 40 minutes includes short modules discussing sustainability in student halls and residence life, and includes recycling, dining, and energy as the major topics. An interactive trivia type game, which will quiz the information students have learned from the lecture, as well as other general sustainability facts, is given during these modules.
