A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
The Elaine-Langone Center is one of the central buildings on campus. Along with housing our main dining locations, it also contains lockers, showers, and bicycle storage. There are also a shower facilities in Academic West and several other bldgs on campus.

Does the institution provide short-term bicycle parking for all occupied buildings and makes long-term bicycle storage available for students who live on-site (if applicable)?:
Yes

A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:
There are bicycle racks (around 8 spots available) outside every building on campus. Long term storage is not provided, but students are welcome to store bikes in their room.

Yes

Yes

The Bison Bikes program allows anyone on campus to rent bicycles. Along with day and multi-day rentals, there are options for semester long rentals. Each rental comes with a helmet and lock.

Yes

A brief description of the mass transit programs:
The Bucknell Campus Shuttle runs daily with a route throughout the town of Lewisburg. Stops include the bookstore, the supermarkets, the hospital, and different points around campus. The shuttle is free and exclusive to Bucknell students, faculty, and staff.

Zipcar is a commercial car-sharing program open to all Bucknell Faculty, Staff, and Students. 5 Vehicles are located in the Moore Avenue Parking lot and must be returned there after their sharing/rental.

Bucknell has a mortgage guarantee program in place to provide assistance to new faculty and administrative/professional staff in relocating to a primary residence locally, by guaranteeing a portion of the mortgage amount (up to 20%), and thereby enabling the potential buyer to provide the lowest possible down payment.

Yes

Bucknell offers a free shuttle service to downtown Lewisburg and shopping locations. There are preferred parking spots available for fuel efficient / low emitting vehicles.
