A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
The Elaine-Langone Center is one of the central buildings on campus. Along with housing our main dining locations, it also contains lockers, showers, and bicycle storage. There are also a shower facilities in Academic West and several other bldgs on campus.

There are bicycle racks (around 8 spots available) outside every building on campus. Long term storage is not provided, but students are welcome to store bikes in their room.

The Bison Bikes program allows anyone on campus to rent bicycles. Along with day and multi-day rentals, there are options for semester long rentals. Each rental comes with a helmet and lock.

The Bucknell Campus Shuttle runs daily with a route throughout the town of Lewisburg. Stops include the bookstore, the supermarkets, the hospital, and different points around campus. The shuttle is free and exclusive to Bucknell students, faculty, and staff.

Bucknell has a mortgage guarantee program in place to provide assistance to new faculty and administrative/professional staff in relocating to a primary residence locally, by guaranteeing a portion of the mortgage amount (up to 20%), and thereby enabling the potential buyer to provide the lowest possible down
payment.
