Does the institution offer at least one immersive, sustainability-focused educational study program that is one week or more in length?:
Yes
A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
Sustainability challenges and business solutions: The aim of the course is for participants to familiarize themselves with the best corporate and civil organizational sustainability solutions, expand their knowledge in this area, and thereby gain an advantage in the labor market. During the course, students work in teams to provide the best sustainability solutions to the business challenges presented. Various business methods are used to address project tasks related to the Sustainable Development Goals during the course. The goal of the course is to go beyond current best practices - or rigid professional clichés - and seek future-oriented real solutions. We present the dual challenge that, according to the 2022 UN report, the world has failed to meet the set goals for two years, and contradictions within the SDG system are increasing. Student activity, teamwork, and collaborative thinking are expected during the course. The course is based on surpassing the 17 sustainable development goals of the UN, which students can better understand through the NO PLAN(et) Sustainability Escape Game implemented by BGE in a playful way, forming teams before the course.
