As part of the general education, learning outcomes included for all academic programs include the following:
1. liberal learning - demonstrating knowledge and appreciation of the physical and natural world, and of the development and legacies of diverse world cultures
2. global citizenship - understanding the responsibilities of being a global citizen and the role of civic engagement in fostering a democratic society
Some colleges are are more specific in relating these as sustainability outcomes.

The Regenerative Studies, Mechanical Engineering, Biology, etc. is aligned with environmental, economic and social sustainability, including regenerative emphasis on the development of community support systems which are capable of being restored, renewed, revitalized or regenerated through the integration of natural processes, community action and human behavior. The majority of students within all majors included complete at least one sustainable focused course as a prerequisite. Most of these graduates take 5-6 courses or are on tracks that are fully sustainability focused.
Specific learning outcomes accessed include:
- Critically evaluate the role of individual and community practices in relation to sustainability
-Understanding institutional structures at multiple scales for achieving sustainable living

A list or brief description of the course level sustainability learning outcomes and the programs for which the courses are required:
Graduates within Regenerative Studies, Engineering, Science, and Social Science all offer many sustainable focused that are at the program level of majors and minors which in which at least one or more are required to complete both undergrad and graduate degrees. Many general education courses required courses are also sustainability focused. Some examples include Global Regenerative Systems, Evolution of American Cities and the Planning Movement, Global Food Resources, Climatology, Sustainable Communities, etc.
