During the curricular development of the General Education Sustainability Pathway assessment survey and Minor, a faculty learning community (six faculty members) from four separate colleges reviewed and modified the questionnaire.

A brief description of how a representative sample was reached (if applicable) and how the assessment(s) were administered :
During the spring semester of 2017 all students in general education courses were surveyed using the survey instrument. The survey was initially designed to measure knowledge acquisition, attitudes and behavior changes as a result of instruction of student enrolled in the GE Sustainability Studies Pathway.

A brief summary of results from the literacy assessment(s), including a description of any measurable changes over time:
We have demonstrated statistically significant difference in knowledge acquistion of the principle of sustainability between between the beginning of a semester and its end and between courses across the general education pathways.
