The Associated Students Sustainability Fund Allocation Committee administers a student approved sustainability fee, which generates approximately $80,000 per year that is awarded to student sustainability projects.
Approved research projects this year included "This Way to Sustainability Conference XIII, BMU Recycling Bin Standardization Project, Enhancing the Ecological and Agricultural Value of Bats Project and Farm to Pantry – Supporting Student Success through Local, Sustainable Agriculture Project" and numerous others over the past years.

Faculty tenure and promotion procedures consider contributions to the University's Starategic Priorities, including Priority #6: "Believing that each generation owes something to those which follow, we will create environmentally literate citizens, who embrace sustainability as a way of living. We will be wise stewards of scarce resources and, in seeking to develop the whole person, be aware that our individual and collective actions have economic, social, and environmental consequences locally, regionally, and globally."

About: Our Makerspace is a place where you can experiment, create, explore, and colloborate!
We offer a variety of tools and equipment, along with a team of student advisors dedicated to helping students and staff with designing and making their own creative projects.
Location: The Makerspace is located on the second floor of the Meriam Library, to the right of the Copy Center.
