All staff and faculty members have access to Skillport, the State University-wide Learning management System. Through Skillport, users have access to thousands of online courses, Instructor-led training courses, books, and other resources. Many of these courses provide knowledge to acquire certifications in various fields. Skillport offers the following courses on the topic of sustainability: 1. Introduction to Green Business & Sustainability 2. Green Business: Implementing Sustainability Strategies 3. Green Business: Planning Sustainability Strategies 4. Workplace Management: Corporate Social Responsibility 5. Final Exam: Leading & Implementing Sustainable Green Business Strategies

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution(e.g. through payment, reimbursement, or subsidy):
​​​​​As part of the 2014 CSU Sustainability Policy​, the California State University is tasked with integrating sustainability into the academic curriculum. To that end, CSU campus faculty have developed courses in which students confront real-world sustainability problems and address the planet’s environmental challenges. One of these is the “Campus as a​ Living Lab” (CALL) grant program, an outcome of funding from the National Science Foundation.​ For additional information regarding the Campus as a Living Lab Grant Program, please contact Elke Schreiner, Grant Program Coordinator at sustainability@calstate.edu.
