Documentation

A copy of the institution’s inventory of its sustainability course offerings and descriptions:
Do the figures reported above cover one, two, or three academic years?:
One

A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Review of 2021-2022 course catalog to identify sustainability courses or courses that integrated sustainability based on the course description. Courses that described teaching the relationship between humans and the environment in an anthropomorphic context was counted. Course descriptions that discussed sustainable development topics (i.e. climate change, transportation, urban development, reducing fuel use, etc.) were also included.

Also manually added courses that actively partnered with the Office of Sustainability to infuse sustainability into the syllabus and those faculty that indicated they were doing so even though the course descriptions did not explicitly include these activities. This also included responses to a campus-wide faculty survey promoted by Academic Affairs encouraging faculty to self-identify any taught courses and research involving sustainability that may have been missed.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
