All new buildings in the CSU System are required to be LEED Silver "Equivalent" and comply with California Title 24 building code energy efficiency standards. Buildings built after March 12, 2020 must exceed the current Title 24 energy efficiency standards by 10%. Title 24 compliance is reviewed and verified by the CSU Mechanical Review Board as part of the construction process.
-The Science and Innovation Building built in 2020 was LEED Certified at Gold (though is Platinum equivalent since solar went online after LEED consultants' contract term ended/change in paperwork was not submitted)
