Student Health & Psychological Services offers free health and mental well-being services, workshops, and programs to students free of charge. They also provide a dedicated free mental health program that offers resources and appointments for all enrolled students. (https://www.csudh.edu/shs/health-wellness-programs/)

The HR department also offers a variety of included wellness and employee assistance programs as part of staff and faculty benefits. In particular, LifeMatters, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offers free, confidential, 24/7 support, resources and information for almost every aspect of life for CSUDH employees (https://www.csudh.edu/hr/well-being/employee-total-wellness/eap-work-life-support).

CSUDH is a Smoke and Tobacco Free Campus
In order to provide the California State University’s faculty, staff, students, guests, and the public with campuses that support the principle of one’s individual freedom to learn, teach, work, think, and take part in their intellectual endeavors in a fulfilling, rewarding, safe, and healthy environment, the CSU has created and implemented a “smoke and tobacco free” policy systemwide. Smoking and the use of tobacco products is prohibited in all CSU properties. This policy went into effect on September 1, 2017.
