A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
Our BOND program is a first year experience for incoming College of Science and Math students, consisting of a summer experience followed by a Fall and a Spring GE sustainability-themed course (CSM10 and CSM15). Students learn about the Scientific Method and Evidence Based Decision Making by reading scientific articles about the effects of climate change and then undertaking a research project to improve sustainability on campus.
