The University ranked number 7 amongst the top 10 universities across the nation for its use of solar energy in 2014 according to Energy Digital Magazine.
The ranking advertised that CSUF’s 1 MW solar energy system alone is offsetting more than 26.422 tons of greenhouse gas each year. To put that in perspective, it is equivalent to removing 5,180 cars from the road for 25 years.
