A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
CSU Fullerton encourages the procurement of alternative fuel vehicles in line with Chancellors Office SUAM 9171. This policy outlines requirements for new vehicle purchases that support the shift to alternative fuel options. The campus consistently strives to exceed the provisions set forth by the policy. Most notably, 74% of all new vehicle purchases in FY 2019-2020 were alternative fuel, far exceeding the 20% requirement.
