Yes
A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
Since the Fall of 2016, the Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Beach Pantry has operated as the official food pantry for CSULB. The pantry is housed in the University Student Union (USU) and provides perishable and non-perishable food items, toiletries, and school supplies for students in need.
Donations from local businesses, agencies, and organizations such as Grocery Outlet, Cal Recycle, U-Turn Lives, Global Electronic Technology, Inc., Food Finders, and Long Beach Community Table support the pantry.
Students currently enrolled at CSULB can present their ID to access the pantry three times a week and receive up to five items per visit.
If students are unable to visit the pantry, ASI Beach Pantry provides curbside bag pickup. Students can create an account to use an online shopping cart and set an appointment for pick-up.
