The Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Student Life chairs the President's Council on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, which includes cross-sectional membership of faculty, staff, students, and administrators. The university also has a team of College Equity Coordinators lead by the Associate Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to lead DEI related initiatives at the college level. The Equity Coordinator serves as a liaison between the Division of DEI and the College Dean/College DEI council.

Two-hour new employee orientation, presentation (in-person). Additional orientation training at new fall faculty day.
Additional inclusive pedagogy training is provided to faculty as part of their faculty development opportunities.
Faculty/Administration workshops on Equity-Mindedness focus on Race/Ethnicity and the intersectionality with gender and sexuality. This workshop series was implemented over 4 days of 4 hours each.
The Center for Effective Teaching and Learning (CETL) also offers an Inclusive Teaching Certificate with modules focused on inclusive practices for various protected groups.
