¡Verde! is the CSUMB sustainability newsletter. 2015/16 was its first year, we had 3 issues during the academic year. The newsletter is intended to engage and inform the campus community about sustainability efforts and initiatives from throughout campus and inspire action.

There are signs stating "Brown is the new green" where lawns are not being irrigated from the drought. There is a guided walking tour of a 4-acre habitat restoration site with non-native removal and native plants that includes signage and education. A building demolition site that is currently being restored to natives has signage saying "Native plant restoration in progress".

A TRIPwise brochure is distributed annually to inform campus community members of their mobility options. Guide includes information on every sustainable transportation program on campus, and directs users on where to find learn more about bicycling, transit, carpooling, walking and more. Resources include - rideshare, bicycling, regional connections including Monterey Salinas Transit, accessibility options.

Signage is located at strategic locations to route bicyclists to the more than 5 miles of Bicycle Boulevards and Bike Lanes throughout campus. Map kiosks are situated at decision points along main walkways to direct pedestrains towards their destination.
