Materials Working Group

A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The Materials Working Group is comprised of members of the President's Sustainability Committee and other who learn about relevant topics related to sustainability procurement and waste reduction. We have done train-the-trainer presentations of the CSU Plastic Policy as well as supporting goal setting and information gathering. Outreach was conducted in 2018-2020 and the Materials Working Group continues to operate within the President's Sustainability Committee.

This program is targeted at all involved in campus planning and sustainability. This group has been particularly influential in the Campus Sustainability Plan process.
