Calvin has been awarded Tree Campus USA status. The biology department has taken great care to make sure the majority of new plantings are native to Michigan.

Calvin is attentive to our place in the watershed and the impacts our actions have on our neighbors downstream in Plaster Creek, Grand River, and Lake Michigan. We have installed numerous curb-cut rain gardens to mitigate stormwater run-off.
