To abide by the minimum wage laws, Carleton maintains wages for all faculty and staff. All employees are protected for the Fair Labor Standard Act, FLSA, regarding payments and overtime.

A brief description of the institution’s commitment to a student living wage:
Student employee wages were increased in FY19 and again in FY20. The current rate is $10.75. While we maintain high pay rates for our students and reevaluate on an annual basis, we do not have a formal policy about this.
