A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
Carnegie Mellon University's Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) enforces an air quality practice that prohibits 800 ppm of carbon dioxide in all occupied buildings. As such, all buildings have carbon dioxide gauge meters. All LEED-certified buildings or buildings waiting a certification practice indoor air quality standards as outlined by the LEED. Facilities Management Systems (FMS) and EH&S both have a computerized system where the occupants can register complaints.
