A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
Carnegie Mellon University's Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) enforces an air quality practice that assures that carbon dioxide levels do not exceed 800 ppm in all occupied buildings. Some buildings have carbon dioxide meters.
All LEED-certified buildings practice indoor air quality standards as outlined by LEED guidelines. Facilities Management Systems (FMS) and Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) both have a computerized system where the occupants can register complaints.
