A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
Our joint campus farm is a community gardening space accessible to the public, and engaged with classes, research, clubs, and projects to grow food in garden beds and growing areas. The space was built by various departments and initiatives to provide access to growing space, and has been used for food support on campus to students in need and our on campus pantries.
The space has seen garden bed creation by BAS capstone projects, student clubs, and research performed by both students and professors. Grown food and techniques were used as professional development sessions for employees, and as a social meeting place.
