A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with green building design and construction guidelines and policies:
CWRU is held accountable for its green building policy (minimum LEED Silver) via the public ACUPCC reporting system.
All related RFPs and contracts legally require LEED Silver certification for new construction and major renovations.
Additionally, the University has created its own internal green building guidelines that offer architectural and engineering teams a customized road map of how each green building should operate.
